Woodwork

Grindr's men's health brand sells compounded sermorelin and GLP-1s through an outside medical network. It prints plan floors, never the price of a single month.

Review by Craig Palmer, peptide pharmacology writer · Updated October 2026

The short version

Woodwork is open about the machinery behind it: an outside medical network prescribes, an outside company bills, and the terms list the pharmacies by name. What it keeps back is the price of one month of anything, which makes the headline figures hard to compare.

Woodwork is a men's telehealth brand built by Grindr, and its own About page dates the launch to 2025. The main shelf is erectile-dysfunction medicine, with weight loss, sermorelin, hair loss, supplements and an STI-prevention antibiotic beside it. Eligible prescriptions come bundled with a free Grindr Unlimited subscription, renewed each time an order ships. The peptide offer is narrow on the public shelf: sermorelin injections, for muscle, fat loss and recovery. A separate intake landing page also lists NAD+ as injections, a nasal spray and an oral liquid, none of them priced. The weight shelf carries compounded semaglutide as a weekly injection or a daily tablet, compounded tirzepatide by injection, and a lower-dose microdose plan.

What Woodwork prescribes, by goal

Weight

  • SemaglutideFDA-approved
    • Injection (compounded)Price not published
  • TirzepatideFDA-approved
    • Injection (compounded)From $199/mo

Compounded semaglutide is injected weekly or taken as a daily tablet, and compounded tirzepatide is injected weekly; no strength is printed for either. The semaglutide headline of $127 a month applies to a 48-week plan, tirzepatide starts at $199 under a note that prices vary by product and plan, and the microdose plan reads $134. Your clinician titrates the dose over time.

Longevity

  • NAD+Legal to compound

Listed by the seller; no price we hold.

NAD+ appears only on the intake landing page, in three forms: injections, a nasal spray and an oral liquid. No price, dose or schedule is printed for any of them, so a buyer cannot tell what NAD+ costs until after the questionnaire.

    Recovery

    • SermorelinLegal to compound
      • Injection (compounded)From $116 for 4 weeks$125.67 a calendar month, our arithmetic

Sermorelin is sold as an injection on a 5 days on, 2 days off schedule, ideally before bedtime, from $116 a month on what the page calls a 4-week cycle. Thirteen of those cycles fit in a year, which works out to about $125.67 a calendar month by our arithmetic. That figure is a floor across plans, because the same footnote says prices vary by plan, and no milligram dose is printed. The FAQ leaves the dose to your clinician and notes that a stronger effect is usually sought by dosing more often rather than more per injection.

    Sleep

    • SermorelinLegal to compound
      • Injection (compounded)From $116 for 4 weeks$125.67 a calendar month, our arithmetic

Each “From” figure is the seller’s own starting price, in the unit the seller states. Where a required fee or a package length changes what one month costs, the smaller line under it is our arithmetic, not a figure the seller prints. Compounded preparations are not FDA-approved.

    Who prescribes

    A licensed clinician

Woodwork does not prescribe, and its terms say so plainly: it is not licensed to practice medicine and provides management services to independent, physician-owned practices. The prescribing is contracted to the OpenLoop Medical Practices, which the terms describe as independent medical groups with a network of United States based health care providers. The platform itself runs on OpenLoop Health, Inc., which also processes the payments and collects the medical group's and pharmacy's fees on their behalf. No clinician is named anywhere on the site. The sermorelin page promises an online prescription from a board-certified clinician, and the About page speaks of culturally trained professionals, but neither gives a name, a license or a state. The terms are more specific about dispensing than about prescribing. They name Precision Compounding Pharmacy and TriadRX as the pharmacies currently shipping orders, then close with contact details for twelve pharmacies. They never say which of them fills sermorelin or a GLP-1.

You start with an online assessment about your goals and medical history, and a clinician reviews it, usually within one to two days, before deciding whether medication suits you. The About page lists a virtual clinician consultation as part of the service, but the product pages never say whether a live visit happens before every prescription. Once approved, an order ships within two business days and typically arrives two to five days later; the intake pages compress the whole sequence into four to seven days. Follow-up visits are not required for everyone and are available if needed. GLP-1 patients fill in a Refill Form before each monthly billing cycle, and sermorelin patients once a quarter, which is how the clinician hears about side effects or a wanted dose change. GLP-1 patients can also book one-on-one virtual sessions with a Care Coach at no added cost, which most take monthly.

    Are labs required?

    Included for GLP-1s

The two shelves answer differently. For the GLP-1 programs, labs are not required for everyone but are recommended and included in the cost, and some patients will need them to continue. For sermorelin the answer is shorter: labs are not required. The terms still list lab fees among the charges a patient may owe.

What it claims, and what it cites

The sermorelin page promises that the peptide can help you build lean muscle, lose weight and recover, by prompting the pituitary to release more of your own growth hormone. It cites no study for any of those outcomes, and the mechanism it describes is the expected one rather than a measured result in buyers like you. The weight pages make no percentage claim; their FAQ calls one to two pounds a week a typically safe pace. The intake page says NAD+ supports DNA repair and may reduce visible signs of aging, again with no source. Each treatment page carries a plain warning that compounded products are not FDA-approved, and the intake pages note that the models shown are AI-generated.

    How it bills

Every price on the site is a plan floor. The semaglutide figure applies to a 48-week plan, and the sermorelin and tirzepatide figures carry a note that prices vary by plan. The refund rules refer to a regular single-month price that no public page prints, so you see the real monthly charge only after the intake. Shipping is free, insurance is not accepted, and HSA or FSA funds may be usable depending on your plan. Cancellation is self-serve from the patient portal, but the notice asked for varies: 72 hours in the FAQ, three days in the terms' billing section, and any time before renewal in its subscription section. Refunds are considered only before the medication is ordered. Breaking a multi-month plan is refunded pro rata at the unpublished single-month price. Each renewal is charged at whatever the service costs on that day.

    Frequently asked questions

    Who prescribes at Woodwork?
Clinicians from the OpenLoop Medical Practices, a set of independent medical groups that Woodwork contracts with. Woodwork itself is not licensed to practice medicine, and no clinician is named on the site.
How much is a month of sermorelin at Woodwork?
The page prints a floor of $116 a month on a 4-week cycle and says prices vary by plan. The price of a single month on its own is not published.
Is the $127 semaglutide price a monthly plan?
It is the per-month figure of a 48-week plan, according to the footnote under it. A single-month price exists but appears on no public page.
    Does Woodwork require lab work?
Not for sermorelin. For the GLP-1 programs labs are recommended and included in the cost, and some patients need them to continue.
