• Approved as a brand only: FDA approved the branded product, and compounded versions are not permitted. We link no compounded seller for it.
• Legal to compound: FDA’s compounding lists, as last read, let a licensed pharmacy compound it for a patient with a prescription. FDA does not review compounded drugs for safety, effectiveness or quality before they are sold.
• Research only: the lists, as last read, do not allow it to be compounded. We report its research and link no seller.
• Status not yet reviewed: we have not yet read its source. It is treated as research-only until we do.

None of these words says a peptide is safe for you, or that it works.

Many peptides here have small human studies, or none. A result in mice, rats or cells does not show the same effect in people. We label which kind of study a finding comes from.

A trial reports an average across its participants. Your result can differ. Side effects, drug interactions and your own conditions change the picture.

“Not studied in people” means exactly that. It is not a softer way of saying “probably fine.”
