Nova MD

An online clinic that prints the strength of every peptide vial it ships, sends them ready to inject, and leaves the prescribing to a doctor network whose clinicians it never names.

Review by Leah Garner, clinical-evidence editor · Updated October 2026

The short version

Nova MD is unusually plain about what a month buys, since each peptide plan names its vial and milligrams. It says much less about who writes the prescription, beyond a doctor network named in its footer. The FDA sent the company a warning letter in 2025 over how it described compounded semaglutide.

Nova MD, which also calls itself Try Nova, is a cash-pay telehealth storefront run by JM Health Group LLC. It sells compounded sermorelin as an injection and as a troche, NAD+ and glutathione injections, and compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide. Its terms and disclosures say the company does not prescribe, does not run a pharmacy and does not compound anything. Independent clinicians decide on treatment, and independent pharmacies fill and ship the prescription.

What Nova MD prescribes, by goal

Weight

  • SemaglutideFDA-approved
    • Injection (compounded)From $175/mo
  • TirzepatideFDA-approved
    • Injection (compounded)From $199/mo

Compounded semaglutide with B12 costs $175 billed monthly, or $129 a month on a three-month plan billed $387. Compounded tirzepatide costs $199 billed monthly. Its three-month price depends on the pharmacy you pick, from $129 to $156 a month, and the Drug Crafters option is unavailable in fifteen states. A microdose program sells semaglutide or tirzepatide only on a three-month plan paid in full.

Longevity

  • GlutathioneLegal to compound
    • Injection (compounded)From $115/mo
  • NAD+Legal to compound
    • Injection (compounded)From $149/mo

NAD+ is a 10 mL vial at 100 mg per mL, so 1000 mg, for $149 on the monthly plan or $115 a month on three months. The page prints no dose per injection and leaves the schedule to your provider. Glutathione is a 10 mL vial holding 2000 mg, also with no dose or schedule printed. Its plan card says $99 a month, but the FAQ on the same page calls $99 an introductory rate that renews at $115.

Recovery

  • SermorelinLegal to compound
    • Injection (compounded)From $149/mo
    • Sublingual (compounded)From $149/mo

Sermorelin comes two ways. The injection is a 5 mL vial at 3 mg per mL, so 15 mg a month, for $149 on the monthly plan or $105 a month on three months. The troche is a 1000 mcg tablet that dissolves under the tongue, ideally before bedtime, at $149 a month or $99 on three months. Neither page says how often to dose or how many troches a month brings. The sermorelin FAQ also mentions a one-month introductory price of $134.

    • Sublingual (compounded)From $149/mo

Each “From” figure is the seller’s own starting price, in the unit the seller states. Where a required fee or a package length changes what one month costs, the smaller line under it is our arithmetic, not a figure the seller prints. Compounded preparations are not FDA-approved.

Who prescribes

A licensed clinician

The prescribers belong to Arora Health Group, which the site footer describes as a network of US-licensed doctors. That footer says an Arora clinician meets the patient after checkout and keeps the decision to prescribe. No individual clinician is named anywhere on the site, so you cannot look up who will review your intake before you pay. The product pages add that every prescription is reviewed by a licensed physician. The terms call the clinicians independent and say all medical decisions are theirs alone. Pharmacies are described as independent and licensed. Only the compounded tirzepatide page names them: Drug Crafters Pharmacy, Southend & Vials RX, and NewLife, which it marks as temporarily paused.

You start with a medical questionnaire the site says takes about five minutes. A provider usually reviews it within one business day, and the NAD+ page says within 24 hours. Your card is held at checkout and charged only if a provider approves treatment. After that, the site promises unlimited follow-ups, easy refills and same-day replies from the care team through a patient portal. The sermorelin page adds that the doctor writes a six-month plan before requiring a check-in. The NAD+ page says each prescription covers twelve months. Every vial arrives already reconstituted, so there is no mixing step at home.

Are labs required?

Not mentioned

No page mentions bloodwork, a lab requirement or a lab fee for any peptide or GLP-1. The intake is the questionnaire and the provider review that follows it.

What it claims, and what it cites

The outcome language is mostly testimonials, and the footer says every claim on the site comes from self-reported customer data. One homepage testimonial praises a hair program the site does not sell. The microdose page lists longevity benefits, including less cognitive decline and inflammation. Its three sources are given by journal name and year only, with no title or link. The FDA has written to the company. Warning letter 716695, dated September 9, 2025, is addressed to Try Nova and names the Nova MD website. It cited the line "Same active ingredient as Wegovy & Ozempic" for compounded semaglutide. The FDA said this implied the compounded drug was the same as an approved one when it is not. The microdose page still heads one section with the words "same active ingredients".

How it bills

Every plan includes the provider visit and free overnight shipping, with no membership fee. Plans renew automatically, and you can pause or cancel in the patient portal at least 48 hours before renewal. The terms say a full cancellation is done by email. Once the pharmacy fills an order, it cannot be canceled or refunded. If you cancel after approval but before filling, a $25 provider consultation fee is kept. Sermorelin does not ship to New Mexico, Louisiana, Mississippi or Arkansas, and glutathione does not ship to Alaska. The plans are FSA and HSA eligible.
