Hone says it does not practice medicine itself, and its terms describe the prescribers as a network of US-based physicians employed or contracted by an independent, physician-owned medical group. Its how-it-works page names four MDs as its medical experts, but nothing on the site says which physician will see a particular patient. Its clinical policy adds that those physicians are paid per consult and not by whether a prescription is written.
You book the biomarker test first, give blood at one of more than 2,000 partner lab locations, and then have a telehealth consultation with a physician who goes through the results. The consults page describes that visit as a live, 45-minute video call that ends in a written plan covering medication, supplements and lifestyle. On the Premium tier the plan repeats, with a retest and a physician check-in every 90 days and unlimited messaging with the care team between them.
Are labs required?

Blood work is the entry point rather than an option: a 50-plus-biomarker panel comes before the first consult, and Premium members repeat it every three months while Basic members repeat it every six. Hone's terms warn that the lab decides its own refunds, so a panel already drawn is not refunded even if no treatment is prescribed afterward.

What it claims, and what it cites
Every treatment page carries the same three figures, on quality of life, on mood scored with a depression questionnaire, and on how many patients stay a year, and none of them names a study or a sample size. The NAD+ and glutathione pages go further than the evidence, saying the injections may extend lifespan, before conceding in small print that much of that research is in animals. The patient stories beneath them are marked as compensated.
