Frequently asked questions
- How is the syringe reading worked out?
- The peptide in the vial divided by the water added gives the strength of the mix in mg per mL. Your dose divided by that strength gives the volume to draw, and a U-100 insulin syringe holds 100 units in each mL, so the volume times 100 is the reading.
- Why does the reading sometimes differ from the exact figure?
- A syringe barrel is marked in whole units with half-unit lines between them. When the exact figure falls between two lines, the calculator shows the nearest line and prints the exact figure beneath it.
- Why can't I pick BPC-157 or MOTS-c?
- No pharmacy may lawfully compound them today, so this site lists no seller and no dose for them. The calculator offers only peptides a licensed seller may prescribe as a compounded injection.
- Is a studied dose the right dose for me?
- Not necessarily. It is what one trial gave its volunteers, under that trial's conditions. Your prescriber sets your dose, and your prescription label is the number to use.
