MEDvidi
A mental-health telehealth practice that also runs a weight program. You pay per video visit, and any GLP-1 is an FDA-approved brand filled at your own pharmacy.

The short version
MEDvidi sells visits, not medication. You book a 30-minute video visit for $195, and a clinician decides whether a GLP-1 fits. The drug then costs whatever your pharmacy or insurer charges. That keeps the care simple, but you cannot see a total before you start.

MEDvidi is a San Jose telehealth company whose site leads with ADHD, anxiety and depression care. Its weight page lists semaglutide (Ozempic, Wegovy, Rybelsus), tirzepatide (Mounjaro, Zepbound), liraglutide (Saxenda, Victoza) and Trulicity. It also lists non-peptide options such as phentermine, Qsymia, Contrave and metformin. Every drug named is an FDA-approved brand or generic. Nothing compounded is offered. The terms say plainly that MEDvidi is not a pharmacy.

The GLP-1s on offer are brand drugs: Ozempic, Wegovy and Rybelsus for semaglutide, Mounjaro and Zepbound for tirzepatide, and Saxenda or Victoza. A blog post adds that its clinicians can prescribe the Foundayo pill. The standard bar is a BMI of 30, or 27 with a weight-related condition. Semaglutide is marked with insurance coverage help, and the blog says clinicians can file prior authorizations. A footnote warns that some states require an in-person visit before these drugs can be prescribed.
Each “From” figure is the seller’s own starting price, in the unit the seller states. Where a required fee or a package length changes what one month costs, the smaller line under it is our arithmetic, not a figure the seller prints. Compounded preparations are not FDA-approved.
Who prescribes
A licensed clinician
Care comes from MEDVidi Health P.C., a California professional corporation, which the terms say alone controls clinical decisions. MEDvidi Inc. runs the platform and scheduling. The clinicians are independent contractors of the medical group: MDs, DOs, nurse practitioners and physician assistants. The site describes a network of 100+ licensed providers in 35 states. It names eleven of them as clinicians you may be matched with. Your own clinician is assigned when you book, not named in advance. The chief medical officer is Aneel Ursani, MD, a psychiatrist.
You create an account, fill in an intake form and pay to reserve a slot. The care team then checks your intake, runs a prescription-monitoring check and confirms the time. You then have a telehealth consultation by video, 30 minutes long. A prescription follows only if the clinician judges it appropriate. Booking does not guarantee one. After that, follow-ups are 15-minute video check-ins that you book and pay for one at a time. Refills go to your chosen pharmacy, and the clinician may take up to 72 hours to approve one.
Are labs required?
If your clinician asks
Labs are not part of every plan. The weight page says you might be advised to take extra tests, such as for thyroid or kidney issues. No lab price is listed, and the site does not say who orders or pays for them.

What it claims, and what it cites
The weight page says these medicines "can lead to a 10% reduction in initial body weight". It then lists figures for semaglutide, Wegovy and Mounjaro, up to 20.9% for Mounjaro. None of these lines cites a study on the page. It also says only about 20% of Americans who lose weight keep it off, again unsourced. The about page reports a 4.85 out of 5 provider rating from 33,000+ patients. It does not say how those ratings were collected.

How it bills
You pay per visit, with no membership. The first weight visit is $195 and each follow-up is $159. A $249 package bundles the first visit with one follow-up. The FAQ says there is no extra fee for the prescription itself. MEDvidi does not take insurance for visits. The drug is billed separately by your pharmacy, through your insurance or at its cash price. Cancel at least 8 hours ahead for a full refund. A later cancellation costs $50, and a no-show costs $100.
