Klarity Health
Klarity is a marketplace for independent clinicians. You can choose a weight-care provider, arrange follow-ups and discuss brand GLP-1 prescriptions, with visits, labs and medication priced separately.

The short version
Klarity makes the individual clinician visible before you book, and its weight-care FAQ promises monthly follow-ups and unlimited messaging. The tradeoff is a less predictable bill. Each practice sets its fees, medication comes from a separate pharmacy, and headline visit prices vary across the site.

Klarity is a technology marketplace connecting patients with independent private practices. It does not provide medical care itself. The weight-loss service lists Wegovy, Ozempic, Zepbound, Mounjaro and Saxenda as possible prescriptions. The clinician decides whether any medication is appropriate. Mental health and other medical services share the platform, so a general provider profile does not establish a weight-care specialty. The useful first step is to choose a provider who treats your condition in your state.

Wegovy and Ozempic provide semaglutide options, Zepbound and Mounjaro contain tirzepatide, and Saxenda contains liraglutide. These are medications a clinician may discuss, not an included drug package. Some listed uses are off-label, and a prescription is not guaranteed. An oral semaglutide guide discusses Rybelsus and possible compounding, but it does not establish a specific compounded product, pharmacy or price for every provider. Ask for the exact proposed medicine before agreeing to the treatment plan.
Each “From” figure is the seller’s own starting price, in the unit the seller states. Where a required fee or a package length changes what one month costs, the smaller line under it is our arithmetic, not a figure the seller prints. Compounded preparations are not FDA-approved.
Who prescribes
A licensed clinician
The weight-care page names individual clinicians, including Derek Timbs, FNP-BC, and Margaret Gallagher, PhD, FNP-BC. Their displayed specialties include weight loss. Other listings identify nurse practitioners and physician assistants. These are the platform’s descriptions; they do not establish which clinician will accept your booking. You can choose your provider and continue with the same person for later visits. The independent practice is responsible for the medical decision, not Klarity’s customer-support team.
You select a provider for your state and have an initial consultation before any prescription. A short survey helps prepare the plan, and the clinician reviews your history and goals before deciding on a prescription. The FAQ describes at least monthly follow-up check-ins, injection education when applicable, side-effect management and unlimited messaging around the clock. A quick appointment is not guaranteed. The site also notes that some circumstances require an in-person appointment and that laboratory testing can require a separate trip. Ask the selected practice how those requirements apply to you.
Are labs required?
Ordered when needed; billed separately
The weight-care FAQ says lab tests are typically recommended to check health and possible treatment concerns. The clinician decides whether they are needed during the initial consultation. Lab work is not included in the visit fee and is billed separately by the laboratory. No common lab price is given for all practices. Tell the provider about recent results and ask whether they can be used before paying for another test.

What it claims, and what it cites
The weight page describes potential loss of up to 21.9% for a GLP-1 plan. That is promotional context, not an established outcome among Klarity patients. The page also advertises broad clinician access and experience without demonstrating that every listed provider offers the same service. Its medication pages summarize studies and discount-card examples. Those references do not establish the outcome, price or prescription that a particular independent practice will offer you.

How it bills
There is no medication-inclusive monthly price. The homepage advertises self-pay visits from $49, while the weight page says from $51 and also estimates $50–$60 depending on location. Those are visit figures, not a month of semaglutide or tirzepatide. Medication is charged separately by the pharmacy, and insurance depends on the selected clinician and your plan. The payment policy requires a $10 nonrefundable deposit for an initial visit, with the balance charged 24 hours before the appointment. It is part of the visit payment, not a medication fee. Provider-specific terms can add other charges. Cancel at least 24 hours ahead to seek a refund of the remaining visit fee; the deposit stays nonrefundable. Late cancellations and missed visits may cost the full fee. The general weight FAQ’s full-refund wording omits that deposit exception, so read the billing policy before booking.

Frequently asked questions
- Does Klarity prescribe Wegovy or Zepbound?
- Independent clinicians on the platform may prescribe them when appropriate. The weight page also lists Ozempic, Mounjaro and Saxenda. Klarity itself does not deliver the medical care.
- Are labs included in a Klarity weight-loss visit?
- No. The FAQ says the provider decides whether testing is needed and the laboratory bills separately.
- Can I see the same clinician again?
- Yes. The service says you can choose your provider and keep that person for follow-up appointments, with at least monthly follow-ups and unlimited messaging described.
- Is the first visit deposit refundable?
- The billing policy says the $10 initial deposit is nonrefundable. Canceling at least 24 hours before the appointment can qualify the remaining visit fee for a refund.
